What a weekend this was! Quite a last minute and spontaneous trip to Isola 2000 ski resort with the girls was just what I needed! Absolutely stunning scenic views all around on the resort situated in the southern French Alps and I think I’ve developed a love for a new hobby – skiing! It was an incredible feeling being so high up on a real mountain (1800m-2600m) and also to try out something new that I previously would have never done (getting out of my comfort zone). The trip dates were 24.03.2017 – 26.03.2017 and I went with other assistants that I have become friends with in Hyères this year.
Place we stayed: Résidences Pierre et Vacances
This is one of the holiday home places that are available at this resort, really nice apartments. They are a little on the small side however they are ideal for a weekend away with a group of friends. Equipped with a kitchen too you can self-cater and just buy from the local supermarket instead of having to fork out more money on restaurants 🙂 (as always I’ve linked the website above)
What we did: Yes I know it seems so obvious – we skied. Sophie, Alexa and I were all newbies and had never skied before. Thankfully we had Emmy on hand, she was a great teacher and by the end of the second day we were wizzing down the slopes having so much fun! Take a look at some of the photos from the weekend below! 🙂
Massive thank you to the girls for such a fun weekend 🙂 Would definitely recommend this little resort for a ski weekend away if you were thinking about it. Ski rental prices were reasonable too – a lot cheaper than I expected. Stay tuned for more travel fun soon or have a browse through my other adventures I’ve posted so far!
