I feel very lucky to have had the opportunity to travel to so many new destinations throughout my year abroad! This is not to say I didn’t travel anywhere before but I just feel like I’ve managed to tick off quite a few new places this year! One of my favourites so far has been the fabulous city of Barcelona!

I decided to head to Barcelona during my February break from school (the half term that every French person I know seemed to have gone skiing – think I missed the memo). The dates of my trip were 11.02.2017 – 15.02.2017 and I went with a group of friends. Overall I felt like 3/4 days was plenty of time to get the ‘must dos’ done in the city.

“You can’t be lost if you don’t look at the map.” – Logic.

Place we stayed : Diagonal House

Really lovely hostel and I think I can speak on behalf of all the group who stayed here is we would definitely recommend it! Really reasonably priced, friendly staff (who spoke English – God send when none of us could speak Spanish) and fully equipped for pretty much anything you could need! (I’ve added the link on here too – just click above)

Places we visited :

Park Güell – had a Güell good time here! 😉

Sagrada Familia – Oh my Gaudí!

Casa Batlló – Gaudí do that?

Palau de la Música

Casa Mila

Barcelona Cathedral

El Gotic

Arc de Triomf

Places we ate/drank :

El Bosc de les Fades

Had so much fun on this trip and as you can see the puns were out in full force during our time here. Gorgeous city to go visit if you get the chance to go 🙂 Stay tuned for more trip updates soon!
