I have been very lucky to have had several trips to Paris since being very little. My first trip was to stay in Disneyland when I was around 6 years old. Since then I have had a Maths based school trip to Paris in high school, a language exchange trip during college and I have been back to stay with friends too of my own accord. This page talks about the trip I’ve had during my year abroad 2016 – 2017 and any trips I may make here on in.

It was girls weekend time with my amazing friends from uni and from here in France. The trip dates were 25.11.2016 – 27.11.2016. It wasn’t too bad to just spend a weekend here (Fri-Sun) as I think everyone had been to Paris before so it wasn’t a problem for people if we didn’t get a chance to see all the ‘must-sees’ but on the whole it’s a good amount of time to get most of it done. See our memories below…

Place we stayed : Le Patio du Marais

This was a small almost apartment complex based in very central Paris (3eme arrondissement), not too far a walk from the Pompidou centre and Notre Dame de Paris. There were 5 of us who shared an apartment here which brought the cost down for us for anyone who might be looking for cheaper accommodation in Paris (I’ve added the link above too). Very nice place overall, clean and tidy and the staff were also helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again if (haha, *when – let’s be real) I go back with a group of people.

Places we visited :

Tour Eiffel

Moulin Rouge

Pigalle District

Notre Dame de Paris

Le Palais de Justice

Le Mur de je t’aime

We also managed a girls’ night out in Paris which was so much fun 🙂

I was also so lucky to be reunited with a friend I made back when I did my college exchange trip to Paris – 5 years ago now 😮 just goes to show that no matter how long you leave it between seeing friends, anything is possible 🙂

I had a great weekend despite travel plans not quite going to plan (thanks France) can’t wait to go back to this city again!
